◨ Code

Most of the books and book images referred to in this blog are from my own collection; if not, it will be clearly mentioned. In respect to The Silmarillion in particular, each copy has an assigned reference code; this is of long-standing use, independent of this blog. The code is a simple numerical one: S.001, S.002, and so on. The code is assigned in order of acquisition. If you notice one of these codes mentioned in a post, this is what it refers to. Perhaps at a later date I'll add the (already recorded) bibliographical detail for each book, but for now here are the copies shown/discussed thus far.
